Ish embodies all that is right with the Marina. The son of two enlisted Army sergeants, Ish spent his childhood moving around the United States as an Army Brat. After spending time in Pennsylvania, Texas, Colorado, Georgia, Germany and Oklahoma, Ish found his way to sunny California by way of Stanford University. At Stanford, Ish sharpened his competitive spirit and improved his alcohol tolerance as a member of the Stanford football team. There he joined Omega Psi Phi fraternity and was introduced to the power of service, and the art of Stepping. After graduation, Ish took his talents to Silicon Valley where he has worked as an analyst for the past 5 years.

You can find Ish at many of the local watering holes in the Marina where he is easy to spot, but harder to forget. When you’re at Fort Mason on a sunny weekend afternoon don’t be surprised by the large gentlemen making one hand catches over your cheese and fruit spread, it’s just Ish and his former teammates playing catch. His easy going attitude and worldly experience allow him to have friends from the barbershop to the boardroom. He is a rare blend of Southern gentlemen, Cali cool, intellectual curiosity, and athletic accomplishment.
